Age Group Coordinator Activities
This help page is to assist the Age Group Coordinators (abbreviated AGC from here on) with required activities for the JAGS season.
- Pre-requisite for AGC : The specified JAGS AGC must have an imsportz userid. The userid must be assigned as an administrator for the Age Group, performed by the JAGS Administration team. To check if you meet this requirement, go to Teams/Age Groups.

Your name should be designated as the administrator. (In this example, Denise Marden is the assigned AGC.) If not, click on the circle icon for the age group to see profile information in a separate browser window. If you are not listed, contact the JAGS Administrator.

Important : At this time, you must check if you are logged in to the imSportz website (see upper right hand corner red annotation in image below). If not, you need to login and return to the profile page following the steps above. In this example, jagsadmin is logged in.
- Prior to the start of the season, teams will apply for JAGS under a particular age group. The AGC will manage these applications by accepting or denying the application. Within the Age Group Profile, click on the gray button View League Applications (highlighted in the second image above). A screen will appear showing the open, accepted, and denied applications :

Click on the down arrow and choose a team to see the team information. Note: Telephone and address information has been intentionally blacked out for the Burlington United example.

Click on Accept or Deny. For this season, teams should not be accepted unless they have been registered with gotsoccer.com and have carding assignments. - Once all the teams have been established for an age group, the teams can then be placed within divisions. Go back to the Age Group Profile screen and click on the gray button Divisions (highlighted in the second image above). The Divisions page below will be displayed :

First, create the divisions for your age group by using the create, change, or remove functions on the screen. Once the divisions are established, use the function "Add and remove teams to/from divisions" to place each team in the appropriate divisions. Note: Division names are up to the discretion of the AGC. However, if an age group has a MAPS divisions, it must use MAPS as the naming convention.
- Scheduling is the next step in the process. Schedule entries can be created one at a time. However, it is much easier to create the schedule in a spreadsheet, since it is typically subject to change, and then import the final schedule into the site. This step will be coordinated with the JAGS Administrator so please follow the instructions provided in the Welcome Email. Important Note: Keep in mind that the teams listed in the schedule spreadsheet must match exactly to the Team Name registered; otherwise during the import, the system will not recognize the team and the import will fail.
- Specific instructions for handling Score Reporting will be provided at a later date.
